Bathroom Cabinet Refinishing Services in Uxbridge, ON
Bathroom cupboards get opened and closed every day, exposed to steam, toothpaste stains, and splashed water. After a few years, the finish begins to wear down, the colors fade, and the vanity area loses its pristine aspect. Paint Squad provides bathroom cabinet refinishing services in Uxbridge, ON, for homeowners who desire a brighter, more modern feeling bathroom without tearing away perfectly fine cabinetry. Instead of rebuilding the whole vanity system, we refinish the cabinet surfaces you use daily and give them a clean, smooth, sprayed finish.
Bathroom cabinets affect how the entire room feels. When vanity doors are faded or damaged, it makes the bathroom seem older, even if you keep it clean. Bathroom finishes often wear up light and how today’s bathrooms seem refreshed and function-free. Many homeowners deal with:
Cabinets that still function properly but look worn out
Peeling paint around sink bases from moisture exposure
Faded stains near cabinet edges and handles
Scratches and chipped corners from daily use
Outdated vanity colors that no longer match the home
Cabinets that stay dull no matter how much cleaning gets done
Long renovation timelines that interrupt daily routines
Replacement costs that feel unnecessary for solid cabinet boxes
That’s why bathroom vanity refinishing in Uxbridge, ON, has become a real choice for homeowners who desire a dramatic alteration without taking up the bathroom. Refinishing retains the cabinet structure that is already there and makes the surfaces that you see every morning and night look better.
We refinish various cabinet materials commonly found in bathrooms, including:
Oak vanity cabinets
Maple bathroom cupboards
Painted wood vanities
Laminate cabinet surfaces
Older vanity drawer fronts
Natural wood bathroom cabinets
We take the doors and drawer fronts off the cabinets, clean and sand them, patch minor surface problems, and add a sprayed-on coating for a fine appearance. This process helps to correct the uneven surface and brings out a chosen finish that might emerge with conventional hand painting.
Smooth Cabinet Finishes That Hold Up Better in Bathrooms
Bathrooms are high-moisture spaces, particularly around sink cabinets and the bases of vanities. Flat water finishes, moisture, and humidity cause doors to lose their smoothness over time. Friction around faucets, and damp hands contacting drawer fronts every day, wear off the paint more quickly than most people imagine.
Our bathroom cabinetry refinishing services in Uxbridge, ON, use durable sprayed coatings designed for cabinet surfaces that deal with regular bathroom moisture. We apply low-VOC water-based finishes that dry into a smooth surface and help restore cabinet surfaces inside the home.
Popular cabinet finishes include:
Soft white vanity finishes
Warm off-white cabinet colors
Solid bathroom cabinet coatings
Matte vanity finishes
Smooth modern-grey tones
Rich wood tone stains for natural wood cabinets
We start by prepping the cabinet surfaces properly before we spray so that the new finish adheres properly. Bathroom cabinets tend to gather soap scum, dampness, hair spray film, and oil from continuous handling. These layers need to be properly prepped before refinishing commences.
Our cabinet refinishing approach includes:
Removing vanity doors and drawer fronts
Cleaning away buildup residue
Sanding worn cabinet surfaces
Repairing small chips and surface damage
Masking surrounding bathroom areas
Applying sprayed cabinet coatings evenly
Reinstalling the finished cabinet pieces
This method leaves the surfaces of bathroom cabinets smoother and makes it simpler to clean them during the normal maintenance of the bathroom. New cabinet finishes may help make the bathroom seem brighter by reflecting more light around the vanity.
A Fresh Cabinet Finish Changes the Feel of Daily Routines
People spend time at the vanity every single day. Even if the bathroom is kept clean, the old cabinet finishes will progressively change the mood of the space. Sun-bleached drawer fronts, discolored oak cabinets, and peeling edges may make the room appear neglected and older than the rest of the house. With our bathroom cabinetry refinishing services in Uxbridge, ON, homeowners can enhance the appearance of the bathroom without having to tear down, measure pipes, or spend weeks on a full overhaul.
Underneath the aged surface, many bathroom cabinets are solid. This makes refinishing a sensible approach to refresh the area and maintain the original arrangement. Homeowners often choose our bathroom vanity refinishing in Uxbridge, ON, before listing a property because updated vanity cabinets make bathrooms look cleaner and more modern when you’re showing your home. The cabinets present better and look more cohesive when covered with a smooth finish.
Paint Squad is expert in refinishing bathroom cabinets with factory-style sprayed finishes that provide a cleaner, more modern look to vanity doors, drawer fronts, and cabinet faces. We take care to preserve the surrounding parts of the bathroom throughout the refinishing process, and then reinstall the refinished cabinet pieces after everything is done. Refinished bathroom cabinets brighten up the area, making it seem cleaner and simpler to appreciate while going through regular routines without removing the vanity arrangement you currently depend on.
Why Choose Us
Frequently Asked Questions
On average this is a 2-3 week process from start to finish. We are on-site for 2 days to do the base cabinets and another day to re-install your newly refinished doors. With our processes, we can spray ALL types of cabinetry including oak, maple, pine, melamine. Ask us how we spray your damaged thermofoil doors too!
You do NOT have to empty your cupboards because we mask and tape off the openings - but some people find that this is a good time to clean and re-organize their cabinets. We use non-toxic / low VOC water based lacquers so the smells are minimal.
You can chose ANY colour you want but we recommend choosing a Sherwin Williams colour. If you want to give your upper and lower cabinets or the island a contrasting colour, we can do that too! There is an additional charge involved for the extra paint and labour required.
